    PARENTS:  The After Prom Information and planning sessions are as follows: 

    Wednesday, March 31st at 3:30; Thursday, April 15th at 7pm.  After Prom is Saturday April 24th from 11pm – 3AM.  Parent viewing is 10-10:30pm.  Contact Melissa Langdon at 949-8302 or email mlangdon@insightbb.com.

    Dazzler tryouts:  Final tryouts and selections are today from 3:30-6pm in the gym and are open to parents and spectators. If you have any questions contact Coach Sharp. (dazzcoach@aol.com or 502-510-4307.)

    Returning boys’ basketball players need to meet individually with Coach Gianfagna before or after school or during study hall.  End of year evaluation form need to be filled out before meeting.

    Any NAFCS students who will be in grades 6, 7 or 8th at the start of school next year are eligible to participate in the Sheriff’s summer youth camp July 19-23rd. It will be held at Graceland Church.  Officer Shultz has the applications.

    Become an FC Student Mentor next year – A mentor is a leadership role in which you are involved in the Freshman Focus program. This service based program centers on next year’s freshmen and their transition into high school throughout the year. You must be an upcoming junior or senior, 3.0 GPA and no discipline record. Stop by Ms. Morrissey’s office to pick up an application from her mailbox. Deadline is Thursday, April l8th.

    Student renaissance will be holding a fundraiser for the Leukemia Society on Thursday and Friday of this week selling soft drinks and candy for $1 during lunch.  We will also be holding a cutest baby contest.  Finally, we will be selling raffle tickets for a U of L poster signed by the 2010 players and a New Orleans Saints football signed by Shawn Payton.

    The theatre department’s first production next year will be the classic comedy “Arsenic & Old Lace.”  For those interested the film will be shown in Studio One at 3pm today to familiarize actors with the story.

    Remember to sign up for Prom at the BOOKSTORE through April 20th.  The costs are:

    $30.00 for all Juniors

    $30 for Seniors who did not attend last year and

    $15.00 for Seniors who DID attended last year.

    $35.00 for all guests: *a Guest Form must be filled out and returned to THE BOOKSTORE by

                April 20th; and

    $10.00 for Foreign Exchange students

    Congratulations to Sierra Loop as she placed 9th in the Indiana State Solo Dance Competition representing Floyd Central and under the direction of Todd Sharp.
