The Horatio Alger Association offers a scholarship from $2500 to $20,000 to students exhibiting financial need and integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity. For more information, go to www.horatioalger.org. Deadline is October 30.
Miami University of Ohio presents the Bridges Program. This is an all expense paid overnight visit program for seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA, college prep curriculum and demonstrated leadership. Sessions are in November. See scholarship board for applications. Deadline is September 10.
Check out $500 scholarship opportunities for students who plan to pursue health education, physical education, recreation, dance education or sport administration. Applications are due January 15th.Comments Off
