There is a part-time/seasonal job posting in the guidance office at Kiesler Farms in Greenville.  Previous experience is helpful but not necessary. Hours vary on weather. 

Softball players will have a car wash at John Jones’ Auto on this Saturday.   See Samantha McClure or Jordan Batliner if you have any questions.

Basketball conditioning for girls not in a fall sport begins today 3-5pm in the main gym. 

Anyone interested in wrestling this year and not in a fall sport can meet with Coach Sisson in B139 Thursday after school.

Just a reminder, all football and soccer players and cross runners are to park in the JV baseball field today for practice.   We have huge girls’ soccer game with Providence tonight plus a freshman football game with Madison.    The large lot will used for parents and visitors.   Thanks for helping.  

Congratulations to the boys’ soccer as they defeated Evansville Reitz this past Saturday 7-0.

Also, the Horatio Alger Association offers a scholarship from $2500 to $20,000 to students exhibiting financial need, integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal    adversity. Deadline is October 30.

Sign up WEDNESDAY during lunch for picture retakes or if you have not had your picture taken this year.  Picture Day is Thursday, Sept. 9^th. 

Sign up at the bookstore for driver’s education if you turned 15 on or before April 1^st this year.

Nominations are being taken for football Homecoming Queen & Court today through Thursday at the bookstore during lunch. 

A reminder to students and teachers: NO drinks other than WATER are allowed in the hallways any time during the school day, including before school.

The girls Varsity Cross Country team placed 2nd of 18 teams at North Harrison last night.  Leading the team was Alyssa Moore, Hannah Keehn, Katie Perkins, Abbie Ewing, Sarah Henry and Ryan Meza. The JV finished 1st lead by Connie Rhodes, Kendra Mifflin, Abby Marguet, Jamie Bierman, Jenni Fifer, Lisa Goette and Zoe Doebbler

Miami University of Ohio presents the Bridges Program.  This is an all expense paid overnight visit program for seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA, college prep curriculum and demonstrated leadership.  Sessions are in November.  See scholarship board for applications.  Deadline is September 10.
 
Check out $500 scholarship opportunities for students who plan to pursue health education, physical education, recreation, dance education or sport administration.  Applications are due January 15th.
