Mar 29
This past weekend both the Emerald Guard and Winter Percussion competed at the Tri-State Championships competing against groups from Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. The Emerald Guard was the Bronze Medalists finishing third and the Percussion won the Gold Medal and are the Tri-State champions for 2010. Congratulations to both of these groups.

Feb 22
The Boys Swim/Diving team won their 3rd straight IHSAA Sectional Championship Saturday over Jeffersonville. Two school records were in the 200 Medley Relay team of Oscar Anderson, Drew Cato, Max Hollingsworth & Brock Slavens. Sectional champions in the 200 Freestyle Relay is the team of Wolfe, Crater, Slavens & Cato. Drew Cato was a double sectional champion in the 100 freestyle & 100 backstroke. Brandon Davis was the sectional champion in diving and will compete in the Bloomington North Regional on Tuesday. Brock Slavens also advances to state in the 50 freestyle by setting a school record on Thursday night.

There are 11 categories to compete in with first place being $3,000, second $2,000 and third $1,000. Categories and more information are listed on the bulletin board in the guidance office.
