Last night the baseball team completed their regular season by defeating Silver Creek

8-1. Their final record is one of the best in schools history finishing 22-5 and ranked 16^th in the state.  They will begin sectional play this Thursday at 8:00 at Jeffersonville High School against Bedford North Lawrence.

All freshman and JV baseball players need to turn in their uniforms Wednesday at 3:00 in the football locker room.”

Last week the baseball team won 2 of 4 games. During the week they beat Forest Park and New Albany. Saturday they lost 2 tough games to Lawrence Central & Hamilton Southeastern. They lost to Lawrence Central 7-6 in extra innings and Hamilton Southeastern 7-5.  Their next game is Wednesday at North Harrison.

Coach Knight’s “green squad” will play Jeffersonville today at 5:00.  All playes need to be dressed and ready to play by 4:15.

The boys varsity Baseball results over the weekend were on Friday FC 9 and Southern 1;

And Saturday a double header with  FC over South Dearborn 5 to 3; and a win over FW Carroll 11 to 7.

Baseball practice today will be indoors!

A Baseball sign-up meeting is TODAY after school in the LGI room for those who did not attend on Thursday.
