The varsity football team is looking for 2 people to film varsity games on Friday nights. These individuals will be paid for their work. Please see Mr. Romig in C-102 for more information.

The football team won the sectional for the second time (last win, 1998) in our school’s history by beating Castle on Friday night.   We will play at  Center Grove on Friday night at 7:00.   More information will be released later.

The football team advances to the sectional championship by beating New Albany.  We play Castle High School here Friday night. Thanks to all who sat in the rain to cheer them on.

Boy’s basketball meeting is Thursday after school in A-213 with Coach Gianfagna for students not involved in a fall sport.

Floyd Central 22- Providence 20.   Their next game is this Friday against Madison at Madison.

 Today is the last chance to get your advanced football tickets at the athletic office for the Providence game tonight for only $5 each.  This will speed up your entry to the game by not having to stand in line to purchase one.

Advanced tickets for the Providence Football game this Friday will be on sale at the athletic office for everyone during the school day for $5 each. This way you won’t have to stand in line to purchase your ticket. Be sure to tell your parents, family and friends.

Senior Exec has a meeting Thursday at 7AM in the Student Conference Room.

 Today is the last day for auditions for the theatre department’s first play, the comedy “Almost, Maine”, immediately after school.   

Learn how to make good decisions. Join SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions).  There will be an informational meeting at 2:45 in B18 after school Wednesday with Ms. Barnes. 

SPORTS -Congratulations to the girls cross country team as they won the Bulldog Classic on Saturday at NA and also to Chelsea Reidinger for her 1^st place finish overall. 

Tonight the volleyball girls play Providence:  JV at 5:30 and Varsity at 7:30.  Come out and show your support the girls against Providence,

Come out tonight for the boys’ soccer match against Providence which begins at 5:30 for JV and 7pm for varsity – both events are here at FC. 

Open mat for wrestlers begins today and each week hereafter on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30pm until further notice.
