The Advanced Acting classes and Musical Theatre class will present a Drama-Fest Showcase tonight at 7pm in the Studio Theatre. The evening includes scenes, monologues, a one-act and musical selections.  The cost is $3 for students and $5 for adults.

Congratulations to the girls’ tennis as they won the first round of the Hoosier Hills Conference against Jeff 5-0.  They will take on either Madison or Seymour on Wednesday at 5:30.  Tonight they play Providence at 5pm (weather permitting).

Student Renaissance recently did a fundraiser for the Leukemia student.  The winner of the cutest baby contest is Sherry Knotts, the winner of the signed U of L poster is also Sherry Knotts.  The winner of the signed New Orleans Saints football is Garrett Cambron. Thanks to everyone who helped us raise money for the leukemia society.

The New Albany High School plant sale is going on now. There is a large variety of flowering and vegetable plants available for purchase.  

Sale hours are 2:45 – 4:45 Monday – Friday and Saturday 10-2pm.

Good luck to the tennis team as they take on Terre Haute.  Also, don’t forget to come out Thursday at 4:30 for Senior Night here at FC as the team takes on rival New Albany. This year’s seniors are Mercades Bierman, Emily Wimbec, Sandra McCaffrey and Kayla Oldham.

1st places were Hannah Keehn, Alyssa Moore, Marissa Sammons, Kaitlin Hein in the 3200 Relay.  Hannah Keehn in the 1600 & 800;  Laura Der, 2nd in Discus; Jessica Price 3^rd in  100H, Alyssa Moore in the 800, and Hein, Sammons, Moore & Keehn in the 1600 Relay. *Brittany Helmer was 3rd in the Pole Vault setting a new school and meet record at 9’3″.

Congratulations to the girls’ tennis team as they were runners up in the Crawford Co. Invitational. Olivia Boesing was first in the #1 singles and Carmen Schreiber was 2^nd in the #2 singles. The JV host Charlestown today at 4:30 and the teams travel to Jeff on Tuesday. Wednesday’s match is at Bedford North Lawrence as they play Terre Haute.  Thursday is Senior Night honoring Mercades Bierman, Emily Wimbec, Sandra McCaffrey and Kayla Oldham as they play New Albany that night. 

The NAHS annual plant sale begins Tuesday April 20^th.  There is a large variety of flowering bedding plants and vegetable plants available.   Sale hours are 2:45 – 4:45 Monday – Friday and Saturday 10-2pm.

Last week the baseball team won 2 of 4 games. During the week they beat Forest Park and New Albany. Saturday they lost 2 tough games to Lawrence Central & Hamilton Southeastern. They lost to Lawrence Central 7-6 in extra innings and Hamilton Southeastern 7-5.  Their next game is Wednesday at North Harrison.

Congratulations to the Dazzlers as they won the Indiana State Pom Championship this past Saturday.   Please congratulate the Dazzlers today. 

Seniors who completed the local scholarship application last Fall are eligible to apply for the Nassim, McMonigle and Mescia Scholarship for $500. Applications are in Student Services. An essay is required.  Deadline is March 19.

Sign-ups for the April Driver’s Education class will be taken through Spring Break, March 19^th at the bookstore.  Also you can sign up at the BOOKSTORE for the DRIVING SKILLS TEST to be held on SATURDAY, MARCH 13^th.  See Mr. Hay if you have any questions.
